My Story

Hi!  My name is Lindsey Yoder.  For my 14th birthday, my mom took me to see the  movie “Priceless” which highlighted the issue of human trafficking.  Immediately I wanted to do something to stop it.  Last summer I walked 300 miles from my hometown in Arthur, Illinois, to Nashville, Tennessee, the headquarters for Hope for Justice , an anti-trafficking organization.  I was inspired by what Hope for Justice is doing to fight against human trafficking, and rescue those who are already caught in it.  I set a goal to raise enough to fund the rescue and rehabilitation of 30 girls.  During the time I walked to Nashville last summer, people donated $40,000.00 and I’m glad for that support.  I want to continue working to reach my original goal, so now I’m attempting to ride my recumbent trike from Mexico to Canada.  This time I’m not alone.  My brother, sister, cousin and mom are riding with me.  We plan to reach the Canada border sometime around the 16th of May.

Please help me support Hope for Justice by making a donation to Hope for Justice  through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support… and please don’t forget to follow my journey on Facebook and Instagram. I’ll see you there.
